Welcome to the Partners Behavioral Health Management Website
In July 2011, three area behavioral health management agencies -- Crossroads Behavioral Healthcare, Mental Health Partners, and Pathways LME, were approved by the State of North Carolina to operate as a Medicaid 1915 (b)(c) Waiver site.
The three agencies will form a new organization—Partners Behavioral Health Management (Partners BHM)--in July 2012. When operational, Partners BHM will manage the mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance abuse (MH/DD/SA) services in Burke, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Surry and Yadkin counties. Beginning in January 2013, Partners BHM will also authorize, or approve the use of both, Medicaid and state-funded mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities and substance abuse services.
Partners BHM will continue to:
• Make sure that consumers receive the best possible care through a network of private providers;
• Provide ACCESS to Care through a 24 hour a day call center for information, referral to services and crisis assistance for behavioral health care;
• Work with the community to identify needs related to citizens with a mental illness, intellectual or developmental disability, or substance abuse issue; and
• Manage public dollars used for behavioral health care.
