WHEN NOT TO KEEP A SECRET

When Not to Keep a Secret

Friends keep secrets for each other, but there are times when it is NOT OK to keep a secret. If you know someone who could possibly be in danger of hurting themselves or others, you need to seek help.

This website’s focus is Suicide Prevention. There are many factors that cause someone to contemplate ending their life. We hope that these resources will help you find answers to difficult problems. Click on the links to the right that may fit your situation.

If you are in a crisis situation and reside in Cleveland, Gaston or Lincoln Counties, call the Pathways LME Access Hotline at 1-800-898-5898.

The FIRST STEP is to TELL SOMEONE and get help. Don't keep this secret.
